Stephanie Shelton Joins As Executive Vice President of Client Experience, Healthcare.

Chicago, IL (March. 25, 2024)Current Global, the human-first communications agency, welcomes Stephanie Shelton as the new Executive Vice President of Client Experience in the Healthcare sector. As part of the executive leadership team, Shelton will be instrumental in steering the communications strategy for one of Current and IPG’s flagship pharmaceutical clients, enhancing a pivotal therapeutic portfolio while driving initiatives across brands. Her role extends to bolstering healthcare growth within Current Global, The Weber Shandwick Collective, and IPG. Shelton’s vast industry experience will be a cornerstone of the agency’s evolution, reporting directly to Global Chief Client and Growth Officer Renee Austin from the Chicago hub.

A powerhouse of strategy and integration, Shelton’s dynamic and inclusive approach, paired with a profound understanding of the healthcare industry, has been shaped by a rich, three-decade career. Her strategic vision has been honed through senior roles at agencies like Fleishman Hillard, W2O Group, Edelman and Zeno Group, where she excelled in nurturing global and U.S. businesses for a diverse array of healthcare stakeholders—from pharmaceutical and biotech companies to consumer health brands and patient advocacy groups.
